Our Vision:

To be recognized among peer associations as a premiere women’s

organization exhibited by:

developing campus and community volunteers and leaders;

providing innovative programming which addresses issues relevant to

   women and society;

strengthening our resources; and

managing the organization through volunteerism.

Facts:

Founded November 11, 1874 at Syracuse University by Helen M. Dodge,

   Frances E. Haven, E. Adeline Curtis, and Mary A. Bingham.

Colors: Brown and Mode

Symbol: Crescent Moon

Flower: Pink Carnation

Jewel: Pearl

Open Motto: "Founded upon a rock."

BALBOA HARBOR ALUMNAE CHAPTER

Balboa Harbor Alumnae Chapter has been

presented with the Founders Circle of

Excellence again for 2010-2011!

This prestigious award is presented to

alumnae chapters who consistently

achieve the Diamond Circle of Excellence

for the past 5 consecutive years.

Gamma Phi Beta coined the phrase "sorority" and became the first women's society to be referred to as such.

Our Mission

To foster lifelong friendships, to support the Delta Eta Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta, and to promote a positive image of Gamma Phi Beta in our local community.
